Aakash Chopra asserts that one of the Gujarat Titans’ (GT) assets heading into their IPL 2023 match against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) is the presence of great bowlers like Mohammad Shami.
The contest will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on May 5th. The Titans will attempt to avenge their first-match loss by three wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Chopra stated in a YouTube video promoting the game that the Gujarat Titans have a strong bowling lineup and are in a good position to reach the playoffs. He continued by explaining:
In their most recent home match, Gujarat failed to reach 130 runs. Gujarat is still very secure because it has 12 points and one game remaining. They are looking very good.
The former Indians opener added:
“Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad, Hardik Pandya, and Mohammad Shami are all on fire for Gujarat, and Mohammad Shami is also on fire.” Mohit Sharma and Joshua Little also exist. Their bowling technique is very excellent. Gujarat’s bowling is utterly incredible. It is enjoyable to observe them bowl.
The purple headgear is currently held by Mohammad Shami, who has taken seventeen wickets. Rashid Khan has eliminated fifteen batsmen, while Noor Ahmad and Mohit Sharma have eliminated eight batsmen apiece.
Aakash Chopra believes it was a fluke that the Gujarat Titans were unable to track down a subpar goal scored by the Delhi Capitals.
“In terms of striking, Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill are ahead of Hardik Pandya, Abhinav Manohar, Vijay Shankar, and David Miller. There is also depth in the manner they strike. They got lost in the vicinity of Delhi. It seems like it was an error. “It won’t keep on happening.”
Former cricket player and current commentator stated that the captain who wins the toss may wish to establish a target because:
“Teams that are not at home continue to triumph. I wouldn’t be surprised if the team that wins the toss elects to bat first, given that it’s simpler to defend nowadays. Oddly, teams used to be able to chase readily, but now they are unable to do so at all.
The teams that batted first have won both games played in Jaipur thus far. The Lucknow Super Giants defeated the Rajasthan Royals by ten runs, and in the previous match at this venue, the host team defeated the Chennai Super Kings by thirty-two runs.
